Ensure the performance of your drive: This original one Brose® belt kit is the complete solution for the professional replacement of the drive belt. It was specifically designed for the Magnesium variants (MAG) of Brose motors and contains all the small parts needed for a clean and safe service.

Belt snapped? How to recognise it

If the motor assistance suddenly cuts out completely while the bike can still be pedalled without the motor, that is the typical sign of a snapped drive belt. Workshops sometimes also describe a high-pitched whistle. If instead the crank spins freely or the pedals turn while coasting, the cause is more likely the freewheel.

According to BIKE magazine (2020), snapped belts occurred on the Drive S Mag from model year 2019; Brose released a software update for this via certified dealers. A specialist dealer can read out whether your motor has the update.

Fits: Brose Drive S Mag with magnesium housing. For Drive C, S Alu, T and TF with aluminium housing there is a separate kit.

Important compatibility

This kit is only suitable for:

• All BROSE® S MAG (Magnesium) motors
• Note: Not suitable for the aluminum variants (ALU).

• 1x bearing protection ring
• 1x O-ring
• 1x grub screw

• Warranty: Please note that you should only install this belt kit yourself outside the Brose warranty. Opening the motor yourself within the warranty period voids all warranty claims.
